Introducing Favorites on Claz: Save Listings, Compare Smarter

Save listings with one tap, then review them in one place – My Favorites on Claz.

We keep improving the site in small, practical steps – and Favorites is the latest one.

Favorites is a personal shortlist. Tap the heart on search results or on a listing page to save an ad for later. Open My Favorites to compare options, pick a winner, or reach out to sellers – without re-running the same searches or digging through old tabs.

It is for hand-picked listings, not a feed the site picked. (Already use Alerts? Alerts watch the market for new matches; Favorites hold the ads flagged manually.)

How to use it

1. Tap the “heart” on search or on a listing.

2. Open “My Favorites” to view or remove saved listings.

Not signed in? You can still tap Favorite. We will ask you to confirm email or sign in so your saves stay on your account.

Give it a try and tell us what you think.

How to request help with your listing

Request help is a new feature on the listing details page. Next time you run into an issue, give it a go.

The assistant does what it can to help you with your listing. It has all of the needed context and tools to help you with most issues. It will forward the request to a human support person if it’s unable to help or if you need to talk to a person.

How to use it

1. Go to your listing’s details page.

2. Click Need HelpRequest Assistance.

3. A conversation opens. The assistant handles most things right away and forwards to a person if it can’t handle it.

Smart Search: One box, better results

People don’t think in filters. They type what’s on their mind: “sofa vancouver”, “used bike”, “apartment near me”. A good marketplace search should understand that one line can include a keyword, a place, or a category – sometimes all at once.

That’s why we built “smart search” on Claz. As you type, it suggests keywords, locations, and categories together, with small hints when something matches indirectly – so it’s clear why it showed up. You can also refine your choices without getting stuck, especially on mobile where the search experience needs to be fast and forgiving.

The result: fewer steps, less guessing, and a quicker path from “I have an idea” to “here are the listings I want”.

This is just the start. We’ll keep improving suggestions, relevance, and speed so search feels less like configuring filters and more like simply asking for what you want.

The Best AI Is the One You Don’t Notice

There's a growing trend in tech: companies racing to put AI front and center. AI-generated descriptions. AI-written titles. AI badges everywhere.
At Claz, we do things differently.

We believe AI works best when users don't notice it.

We've been always at the forefront of integrating AI into our platform for spam prevention, content classification and enrichment.
We've been consistently rolling out improvements that use machine learning and artificial intelligence to make user experience smoother.

We aim at removing friction, not creating new distractions.

This is our philosophy, it's how we operate. We think this is what responsible use of AI looks like: invisible when it's not needed, helpful when it is.

Server Crash & Recovery

One of our web server’s disks went bad earlier today and deleted some of the files, causing search results page to not show up properly. Website has been restored from backup and seems to be working fine now.

We’re checking the user data and the databases to make sure everything else is OK… Looking good so far..

Thanks to Mr. Wade Preston for letting us know about the issue.

Moving to new data platform

Claz is moving to the new data platform – for faster searches and to support our growing database…

If the plan goes right, the move will be completed on Friday night and shall not impact Claz users.

If you occasionally reach this page trying to run your favorite Claz search – please drop me a message at support@claz.org and I’ll look into it
